Buying new doors and windows from this company will be your worst mistake.
Read our horrible experience and how they left our home vulnerable to the weather.
Read our horrible experience and how they left our home vulnerable to the weather.
I’m sure after reading about our experience no one will ever trust this company to do work on their home.
OUR FULL STORY WILL BE HERE SOON
First video when installer removed our side patio door and realized the supervisor at Renewal By Andersen of Milwaukee has intentionally ordered the wrong size patio door and had every intention of removing the support structure 2x4's that support my roof to make their door fit.

The installer confirms with homeowner that the orders he was given do not make sense, even if his supervisor has done it "millions of times."

Installer explaining all the reconstruction that would have to be done just to get the door installed.

We ordered custom doors, yet you are going to remove supporting studs to make a standard door fit? That sounds fraudulent.

Warning: Strong Language: When you order windows, are you aware they may be removing supporting beams, which is against code? There are building codes for a reason.

Patio door installed less than 24hours ago is allowing rain to pool in the track.

Same patio door on the first cold morning with condensation on the bottom of the door. What the video can't show is the breeze coming in from several areas.

This door is described in their brochure as weather tight, yet this is rain pooling in the track.
Another photo showing the rain pooling in the track of the new patio door.
First cool morning of the season, not even freezing temperatures, and our door has a lot of condensation, not to mention you can feel the breeze coming in from several different areas around the door.
This is how Renewal By Andersen Of Milwaukee leaves my home to face the harsh winter when they get caught trying to do poor workmanship on my home
We can either completely reconstruct our home, or have plywood and plastic until late summer of next year.
Renewal By Andersen Of Milwaukee attempts to destroy our home and defraud us out of money by installing a stock door instead of the custom one we ordered. This company had every intention of destroying our home to make more money for themselves. Instead of ordering the correct custom size door Renewal By Anderson Milwaukee ordered their installers to remove important structural studs that support the roof over a door or window opening. This stud is called a jack stud or sometimes a shoulder stud. As you can see by this internal paperwork the estimator wrote to remove the shoulder studs so that he could install a stock door in replace of the custom doors and windows we ordered. By doing this stunt the company would defraud us of what we paid for and weaken the integrity of our home. This action would have shown its ugly head years later after the roof finally sagged dropping on top of the door or window then causing problems with that replacement door or window from opening and closing. The real and more severe damage would be to my home that now has roof trusses that are out of line causing structural damage to the framing and now requiring a new roof to be installed.
Here is the internal work order for my home that their estimator used to gather the important information to place my order of $85,000.00 worth of doors and windows. Let's see how many corners were cut on this sheet. This shows lazy and poor workmanship which is why we are where we are today on this project.
1. They ordered Smart Sun windows and doors. SHOULD HAVE BEEN HIGH PERFORMANCE SMART SUN WINDOWS AND DOORS
2. Screen is listed as double slider. SHOULD HAVE BEEN SINGLE HINGED
3. This door was ordered as 73x79 1/4, work order states 71 1/4x 79 1/2. THE CORRECT SIZE OF THE DOOR THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ORDERED IS 71 1/4X79 1/2
4. They have my walls at 2x6 construction. MY CORRECT WALL CONSTRUCTION IS 2X4
5. Estimator writes on the order work that was created before doors and windows were even order Might have to pull shoulders" SO INSTEAD OF ORDERING THE CORRECT DOOR THIS COMPANY MADE THE DECISION TO DESTROY MY HOME BY REMOVING STRUCTURAL SUPPORTS TO MY HOME
'
"May need to remove shoulder." The work order does not state their should be framers there, it says nothing about building support structures or replacing support structures, it simply says remove. The earlier supervisor clearly tells us in the last video the installer on the job is not a framer, yet this is who you selected to install the door. What exactly did you think he was supposed to do? That's right, what you have done "millions" of times, just remove the support.
